If they have some extra time to help you, they may be able to walk you through some of the more difficult quests, allowing you to complete quests beyond what your level would allow you to complete on your own. This is an outstanding way for you to level up as quickly as possible, especially if you work with someone who already knows how to quickly complete the quests at hand.
If the people you are playing with are of a higher level than you are, they will be better equipped to kill bigger, better foes and monsters which means that you can gain more experience even when you are not a high enough level to tackle such opponents. Just do not get too carried away, because in an environment where your level is not high enough, you can easily fall prey to bigger, harder monsters and other challenges. Power leveling with the help of a higher level player is also commonly referred to as rushing, and finding someone to help you rush through the bigger, better quests should not be impossible. After a good rush, you will be a high enough level that you can complete the lesser quests and kill the lesser monsters on your own.
