Is the Spore Game For You?

If you are an avid gamer that enjoys titles such as Crysis and Call of Duty, then Spore is probably not for you. This game is going to appeal to a wide range of players, possibly the widest range in gaming history. Evolved from the very successful The Sims game, Spore is going to be the ground-breaking game of the year and may possibly become the most played game ever. Spore game designer, Will Wright, has come up with a brilliant concept which is letting you build your very own virtual universe from nothing ... but a spore! As the player comes out of one evolutionary phase, what he, or she, did in the preceding phase will strongly affect how they start in the next phase of the spore game. As you work through each step, the tasks will become increasingly more difficult and so this will definitely be a challenging game.

If you enjoyed The Sims with its interactive game play, building and buying stuff, you are really going to be addicted to this new game. You start out with a single cell organism and it is up to you how you evolve your creatures from the primordial soup. I don't think there is such a thing as an end to this game. Once you have your creature, then there is the tribe you can create. From there you can build a civilization and then on to your very own universe and space. At this level gamers will be able to use tools, like water and terra-forming, to tinker with their universe.

There are countless of creations to be made and shared. Upload your own design and let other spore players use them as well. The creation tools that Spore provides you with are going to give you hours, or days, of fun creating, building and sharing your own universe. This game is going to be hugely popular with female gamers and I predict they will eventually rule the Spore cosmos.

Grand Theft Auto IV(4) PS3 - Liberty City Has Never Looked So Good

A great social experiment gone wrong, that's how Rockstar describes their PS3 game "Grand Theft Auto 4" This game has evolved from the original PC version over the years and it's now ready to be launched a state of the art product where entire cities are simulated, this game is also available for Xbox 360. This game is actually rated 18+ so no youngsters should be allowed to play this game since there is a lot of violence, language and inappropriate situations; besides the ratings and restrictions those who are able to play it will definitively enjoy the great deal of detail the guys at Rockstar North put on this game.

Liberty City is a fictitious multi-cultural American city where all the action takes place. Then main character Niko (player) comes to America after being invited by his cousin Roman in order to find wealth and improve his life style, in other words he comes to live the American dream, however things turn out quite bad when he gets in debt and its dragged into the criminal underworld. Life can be quite miserable when you owe bad people something and the entire city worships money and status, this is the whole scenario Niko Bellic (the player) will have to face. Also, you might find some similarities among Liberty City and New York City as well as New Jersey.

Grand Theft Auto is known for its great deal of violence and shall we say "action" but this time around the guys at Rockstar are being congratulated for the incredible work done by the graphics team. Liberty City has been created and rendered with amazing precision and detail, so much so that it is said that everything to the last pothole and rooftop vent was carefully designed.

Among the many likable characters you will find in GTA 4 we have to mention:

Phill Bell: An Italian business man who works for the big guys in Liberty City and "takes care" of the small fries who give problems or don't pay their dues on time.

Roman Bellic: This is Niko's cousin who is very ambitious and wants to "earn some money" and make a name for himself in Liberty City. He likes alcohol, women and works in his car shop business which he refers to as "Roman Bellic enterprises"

Vlad Glebov: Amusing Russian mafioso.

Many Escuela: This guy adds some latin spice to the game, he is better known by is accent and the reggaeton music which always accompanies his rampages.

Words simply can't describe what you will have to do in Liberty City, this game is sure to keep you hooked for hours because of it's amazing graphics and yes, all the "things that go down in this place" (slang).

This image issued by the York Archaeological Trust on Friday Dec. 12, 2008 shows brain material as dark folded matter at the top of the head in this computer-generated view into the skull. British archaeologists working at a university campus have unearthed an ancient skull carrying a startling surprise - an unusually well-preserved brain still inside. Scientists said Friday that the more than 2,000-year-old mass of gray matter was the oldest ever discovered in Britain. One expert unconnected with the find called it 'a real freak of preservation.' The skull - which was severed from its corpse sometime before the Roman invasion of Britain - was found in a muddy pit during a dig at the University of York in northern England in the fall of this year, according to Richard Hall, a director of York Archaeological Trust. What, Where, and How Much For Your Electric Guitar?

Being a beginner, finding out what the best beginner electric guitar is for you, can be a bit tedious and somewhat difficult. There are a few things to consider like:

What kind I should buy, where to buy it, and how much to pay for it. Think online for the greatest part of your information hunting.

There are so many different guitars out there like: electric, bass, acoustic, steel, and many others. Sounds like it could be hard, but it isn't. You have to know what you are looking for before you start your search for your first electric guitar.

Since you are a beginner and you want to become your own Guitar Hero, you should probably choose a reputable company. The reason being is since you are just beginning, you don't want to start out experiencing with a bad guitar. Some of the good brands are:

Ibanez, Gibson, Fender, Yamaha, Taylor, and Martin.

Now that we know what brand and model of electric guitar to buy, the thing left to do is figure out how much we are willing to pay for it. You can get a fairly good electric guitar for somewhere between $200 and $500, so spend as much as you can afford. You will need a good electric guitar if you want to experience a good playing guitar. Too much of a blunt statement, but true.

Now, you can probably get your electric guitar cheaper online than you can by going to your music store in town. However, the good thing about the local music store is you can go in and try out most of the equipment right there. Even ask questions if you need to. One suggestion would be to try out your electric guitar at your music store, then go back home and shop online for what you want. Ebay and Amazon sound like a good place to start. Doing a Google search for information regarding electric guitars is a great source. Google is probably the best thing for any research. You can find just about anything on Google. Happy hunting, bidding, and Rock On!

How To Transfer Music, Games & Movie Files To PSP

Don't know how to transfer games, music and movie files from your computer to your PSP? - No worries, we'll show you exactly how to do it!

What You Need Before You Start

Obviously, you'll need your PSP device (version 1.5 or higher). You'll also need a computer (Windows or Mac) and a 2.0 high-speed USB cable. And of course, your games, music or music files!

If you've got your files from a download site, they are probably resident in a folder within your download program. However, you can download your music, games and movies from any source you like including CD, DVD and files stored on your computer. iTunes music and movies can be transferred to PSP, but not without being converted to the correct format first.

When building your music and movie library, it's best to buy additional portable memory, as you don't have much space on the 32MB memory stick that comes with PSP itself. A 512MB or higher memory stick is best.

Step 1 - Prepare Your Files For Transfer

Select the PSP games, movies or music files you want on your PSP, and transfer them to your computer, either by downloading them from a download site, or by ripping from a DVD or CD. If transferring files from iTunes, remember to convert them using audio file conversion software such as All Music Converter, Switch (both for Windows) or Music Man (for Mac). Once the PSP files are on your computer in the correct file format, you are almost ready to transfer them to your PSP.

Step 2 - Connect Your PSP To Your Computer

Next, you need to connect your PSP to your computer. Do this by turning on the PSP and putting it into "USB CONNECT" mode (it should display the words "USB CONNECT" on the PSP display while you're transferring files. Next, connect the PSP to your computer using a 2.0 high speed USB cable connected to high speed USB port on your computer (you may need to fiddle about with ports until your computer stops complaining that you have the wrong one). Once your PSP is connected plugged in, click Start > My Computer, and you will see the PSP appear as an additional drive on your computer. Its name will depend on how many drives you already have associated with your computer. For example, if you have your main drive, and your DVD/CD-ROM drive, your PSP will probably be called "Drive E:". On a Mac, it will show up as "Removable Drive".

Step 3 - Transfer Your Files

Once your PSP shows up on your computer, you'll need to navigate the different directories within the PSP as they appear on your computer to find the folder labelled MUSIC, GAMES or VIDEO, depending on what sort of files you're transferring. Now drag and drop your files to your desired folder.

Step 4: Listen!

Once you've moved your files onto your Sony PSP device, all that remains is to enjoy them! Remove your USB cable and take the PSP out of "USB CONNECT" mode. If you're listening to music or watching movies, this is best done via headphones. Go to the MUSIC, GAMES or VIDEO on the PSP and find your files by looking in "Memory Stick", and you're away!
