Is Wii the Final Chapter?

The Nintendo Wii eh? Who's not talking about it? Who's not playing with it? Has anyone still not heard about it?

This little beast, The Wii, has done, and still does take the world by storm! Kids play on it. Kids' parents play on it. Parents' parents play on it!!! Its not a kids' toy at all - its a toy for all humans of all ages! Is that my opinion? Not likely. Thats a fact - the kids, the middle-aged, and the oldies - they're all playing on the Wii!!!

With this enormous success, is this the extreme high point for Nintendo? Or is there more to come? Can anything beat the Wii?

Some folk assume that the next offering from Nintendo will simply be an upgraded version of the current Wii which would just need better graphics thereby matching its rivals, ps3 and xbox 360. Others might tell us to forget Nintendo's future - lets enjoy the current stupendous moment of glory, after all, judging by previous consoles from Nintendo, sales can last for up to a decade or so.

There are some rumours that say Nintendo may bring out a sequel to Super Mario Galaxy and a new title for Zelda called The Legend Of Zelda, which incidentally is for the existing Wii and thereby, not a huge step forward.

No need to point out these developments are not vastly different to what Nintendo currently offer to Joe Public.

So, do we actually know what Nintendo have in store for the future, which have nothing to do with Wii-ish things?

It seems not. And if Nintendo do have any significant developments underway they certainly ain't telling us folk just yet.

Download Free PSP Games

If you are an owner of a PSP, then you know how difficult it can be to find a reliable website to download free psp games. There are three different types of websites that offer game downloads.

Website no 1

The first website can be found simply by going to your favorite search engine and typing in the keywords "download free PSP games". What you will find are sites that offer game downloads for no fees at all. The down side to using these websites to download games is that the download speeds are extremely slow and they can put unwanted spyware and virus on your PC.

Website no 2

Another type downloads website you will find are websites that say they are free, but when you try to click on a game download, the website will charge you a fee for each game you download. These websites are not the way to go.

Website no 3

The next type of websites are the best psp download sites. These sites will typically charge you a minimal membership fee, usually in the $40.00 range and will allow you to download as many games as you want at no additional price. These download websites are highly recommended for a few reasons. These sites are reliable and do not put spyware or potential viruses on your computer. Also, they have the best selection of games and the download speeds are much faster than any website online. Click Here to visit my website http://www.WorkAtHomeToolChest.com/pspdownloads for a list of the top three websites.

Where Are the Wild West Games?

Gun, Red Dead Revolver, and the Wild Arms games. These are the only half-decent Wild West themed games that have come out in the past decade. I give Wild Arms credit for having such a long running RPG series, I even enjoy my copy of Wild Arms 3, but when I think of the Wild West, I don't picture cell-shaded anime characters shooting goblins in the face with snipers and shotguns. I like the Wild Arms series, don't get me wrong, it just isn't the type genre of the Wild West that I'd like to see more of.

The 1800's in America were a time of exploration and adventure, where everyday people weathered the elements, the treacherous landscape, and the wild animals to catch a glimpse of the Pacific Ocean or make their fortune in gold. Nowadays, sand box games are all the rage and so an open ended Wild West game seems doable; just picture Nikko from GTA4 on a horse instead of a car and using a six shooter instead of a rocket launcher.

It surprises me a little that we aren't flooded with every Western-style game imaginable like we were with Western movies. Ask anyone if they've ever heard of John Wayne or Clint Eastwood and after they ask what you're doing in their house, they'll probably say yes. The simple answer is that we don't see more wild west games is because Japan has the most say in what types of games are to be developed and since their history is much different than ours, we see more samurais and ninjas than we do cowboys.

Don't get me wrong, I like exploring fictional video game lands like Filgaia and whatever the name of the world is from the Final Fantasy games, but it would be a breath of fresh air and much more interesting to have landscapes in games modeled to look like realistic locations. Nothing would be more exciting than to explore the pre-settled territories of the American West and ride off into the sunset like we see so many heroes do in movies; or recognize a landmark in a game that you've actually seen in real life.

Thanks to advancements in open sourced technology, gamers are given the driver's seat when it comes to what they want in video game. Maybe in the future we'll see more games that seek to satisfy the restless American spirit that we all seem to have because, I don't know about you, but Oregon Trail just doesn't seem to cut it.

Need Some PSP Game Download Guidance?

If you want a PSP game download on your Sony PSP, you must have a memory stick for the accumulation of the files on it. If you want to watch video clips or movies or have a lot of video games installed on your Sony, you will need to purchase a larger Memory Stick Pro Duo card.

When making a PSP game download to your computer, make sure that it is compatible with your PSP Sony. If the file is not compatible, the downloading and installing process will go wrong and you will have to repeat the download one more time. Download a file that will work with the current version of Firmware installed on your PSP. You probably want to download the newest version of the game. However, this will depend on what version of Firmware is installed on your PSP. Generally, most homebrew PSP games work with Firmware 1.5 and under only. If when downloading you get an error that says something like "The data is corrupted" or "The game could not be started" then the Firmware version on your PSP is not compatible with the homebrew game.

Have a look and make sure the file you download ends with "psp." This is because the author has shared the game to several different platforms. Only a version with "psp" in the name will match with your Sony PSP. Usually most of the PSP game download that you will find on the web are compressed. All computers come with a compression application like Stuff it Expander (Mac) or Winzip (PC) and will "unzip" this file. Once the unzipping is over you will find two folders which contain the game and also the file read me file from the author.

The next step in PSP game download is to unite the PSP to your PC. Then insert the PSP into USB. Press the HOME button located on the bottom left of your PSP and then you should roll left to the SETTINGS feature. Go down to USB CONNECTION and press X. The Memory Stick inside your PSP will now mount or connect with your computer. In order to copy the file you should do the following: PSP > GAME. If you place the game files anywhere else on the Memory Stick, it will not function properly.

If the "PSP" and "GAME" folders don't yet exist on your PSP's Memory Stick, then you need to make two new folders and name them in ALL CAPS. There are some more steps to follow in order to play the game on your PSP. After you finished copying the game onto your Memory Stick, you are free to disconnect the PSP from your PC. Enter the game main menu. From the main menu, roll over to the GAME file on your Sony PSP and then down to the Memory Stick option. After this press X and a list of game files will appear on your display. Press DOWN and you should see the game you just installed. So now you can enjoy playing your favorite games and you can consider yourself a master of PSP game download due to this tutorial.
