Most people who own a PSP know that they can download games for PSP, but are not sure how it works. This article will take you through a series of frequently asked questions and show you the best places to go online to get downloads.

Are the downloads full versions of the games and movies?

Yes, All the game and movie downloads are full versions and are identical to the original versions.

What firmware versions are supported?

Be careful which website you choose because some websites do not support all firmware versions. However, the link to the downloads websites at the end of this article support all firmware versions. Everything including the full step by step instructions is also included.

Can the downloads be played on my computer, TV, and ipod?

Again, be careful which websites you choose because some websites are not compatible. The website below lists three sites, which are compatible with Macintosh.

Are PSP downloads free?

Yes, but I highly recommend choosing a website that charges a one time membership fee. These sites are the most reliable and give you all the extras you are looking for. Also, the websites that are totally free are risky to your PC. They may infect your computer with unwanted spyware or viruses.

How do I download games and movies from the websites?

Simple. Select a download from the website and download the file to directly to your PC. Transfer the game or movie file from the PC using a USB cable. While the PSP is connected to the PC, drag and drop the game or movie file directly to the PSP memory stick. Make sure the game or movie goes to the correct file or path. For example the game file goes to PSP > game folder. Make sure all the files are completely downloaded to the PSP and turn off the PSP and disconnect it from the computer. To access the game files downloaded, select games on the main menu and then memory stick option. A list of downloaded games should appear in the list.
