How to Play Kid Icarus Online - NES Instructions and Pit's Story
The controls to Kid Icarus are confusing if you have never played the game before. You press A to jump and B to shoot arrows. You hold up to face the direction of your arrows up. The rest of the directional buttons move Pit around the stages.
The Storyline for Kid Icarus is that the kingdom of Angel Land was ruled by Palutena (Light Goddess) and Medusa (Darkness Goddess). Medusa destroyed the kingdoms crops and turned humans into stone so Palutena banished Medusa to the underworld and turned her into a disgusting monster.
Medusa gathered an army of monsters and gained control of Angel Land. Palutena then uses the rest of her strength to tell Pit in the underworld to save the kingdom and stopping Medusa with the Three Sacred Treasures. Pit then starts his adventure.
This game is available to play Online on Wii Shop. Nintendo games on Wii Shop cost 5$. It is the easiest way to play the game since the Original Nintendo Cartridge is very rare to find currently. Kid Icarus was often looked past over Metroid even though they were released the same year for Nintendo (Nes). That is because Samus in Metroid was capable of doing so much more than Pit in Kid Icarus.
Pit is now being brought back on the Nintendo Wii for Kid Icarus and Hit Title Smash Brothers Brawl. Nintendo is looking to revive the Kid Icarus title since the Nes release.
