Falcon Punch - Captain Falcon's Super Smash Bros Move

Captain Falcon's Falcon Punch remains as one of the most infamous moves in the Nintendo World. The Falcon Punch can easily be recognized by any Super Smash Bros. player by its loud screaming and flashy movements. The Falcon Punch can be easily performed universally in all Super Smash Bros games by pressing the "B" button. However, in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Captain Falcon's Falcon Punch can do turn around completely i.e do a 180. This can be done by pressing the control stick in the opposite direction near the beginning of the Falcon Punch.

The Falcon Punch move was first introduced in Super Smash Bros for Nintendo 64. However, the move, like many other of Captain Falcon's moves, had no relation to his previous activity as a racing character in the F-Zero gaming series. In fact, Captain Falcon had no previous attacks or such from any of his other games so the designers had to improvise and make up the moves themselves.

Many other spin-offs of the Falcon Punch have appeared such as Donkey Kong and his punch. Also, when Kirby uses his B attack to suck up Captain Falcon, Kirby can mimic his punch by using B. Kirby's voice seems to be a less intense version of Falcon's attack but is nonetheless still powerful.

The Falcon Punch is by far Captain Falcon's strongest attack of all. The attack does nearly 25% damage to any target. This attack is also one of the most powerful attacks in all of Super Smash Bros.

In this Oct. 12, 2008 file photo, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y. stands with her husband, former President Bill Clinton, during a campaign rally in Scranton, Pa. (AP Photo/Jimmy May, File)AP - Sen. Bill Clinton? Sen. Mario Cuomo? Don't completely rule it out. The former president and the former New York governor are among several boldface names being touted as possible "caretakers" for New York's Senate seat - people who would serve until the 2010 elections but wouldn't be interested in running to keep the job.
